“Hengameh” Screened for Iraqi Women

Baghdad (AIPFF) — Iraq's al-Zeinabiat Cultural Institute displayed Hengameh, a highly revered film at the Ammar Popular Film Festival, for Iraqi women on Monday.

Baghdad (AIPFF) — Iraq’s al-Zeinabiat Cultural Institute displayed Hengameh, a highly revered film at the Ammar Popular Film Festival, for Iraqi women on Monday.

The audience, deeply enchanted by the film’s revolutionary plot, aired their views about the work after watching it was over.

Also they each paid tickets valued up to 70,000 Iraqi dinars to contribute to the film’s shooting costs.

The work was previously displayed in Italy, Bahrain and the US by volunteer screeners.
