LONDON (AIPFF) – Kanoon Towhid London, Center of Iranian Students Islamic Association in London, has screened a documentary film, entitled as January 82, for Iranian expatriates.
“January 82” directed by Iman Goodarzi is a documentary which tells the story of an attack by Communists to Amul City in north of Iran, by showing interviews with the incident’s eye-witnesses and retrieving details from archives. The film features vivid reconstructions of the attacks and mingles past interviews with the new ones as narrations on the scenes.
Beside the documentary, an exhibition was held in the center with the title of “Blood-soaked Tulips and Burnt Butterflies” which sparked so much attention among the viewers. The event was held to honor Islamic Revolution martyrs and those firefighters that were killed in last month’s Plasco Building collapse.
