How Much Generous is Imam Reza?

A Letter to the Sun

He lives with his sister and sick mother. One day he hears that Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shiite Imam, is passing through his village, going to the city of Merv. People tell him how kind the Imam is and how generously he responds to people’s call for help. The teenage boy decides to write a letter to Imam Reza and asks him to heal his ill mother. “A Letter to the Sun” is an animated short film about Babak and his appeal to the Imam to help his sick mother. After writing the letter, the animation shows him taking a long walk and going through many difficulties to visit the Imam and deliver his letter to him. He finally fails to visit him, but the Imam pays a visit to her mother in the village and heals her. Babak returns home and sees her sister smiling and his mother opening her arms to warmly embrace him.
