Senior Iranian general who helped to rebuild Lebanon
“Without Borders” is a documentary which its narrative highlights the personal characteristics of a senior Iranian general who has been tasked with helping rebuild Lebanon after Israel's 33-day war on the Arab country back in the summer of 2006. The storyline of the documentary shows how Hassan Shateri dedicated his entire life to fight against the Zionist regime of Israel and rebuild Lebanon. He was in charge of Tehran's reconstruction assistance in Lebanon, at the Iranian Embassy in Beirut. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander was later martyred by Israeli-backed terrorists in Syria in 2013. The story is narrated by the Lebanese people talking about Martyr Shateri’s works and services across the country, particularly Dahieh neighborhood on the southern suburbs of Beirut. The documentary, in some parts, focuses on Martyr Shateri’s ethical attitudes. An interview with Dahieh’s mayor about the martyr’s works and services is also included in the short film.
