AIPFF Releases Candidates’ Shortlist

TEHRAN (AIPFF) - The 1st Ammar Int'l Popular Film Festival is about to wrap up on Saturday in a closing ceremony arranged at the Palestine Theater in Tehran. The panel of judges for the festival have just released a list of the festival's best submissions.

TEHRAN (AIPFF) – The 1st Ammar Int’l Popular Film Festival is about to wrap up on Saturday in a closing ceremony arranged at the Palestine Theater in Tehran. The panel of judges for the festival have just released a list of the festival’s best submissions.

The panel of judges for the international section of the festival has released the shortlist of the best Ammar films picked based on the gala’s criteria.

According to a report from the latest meeting of members of the screening board, the following were selected as candidates of Ammar’s best film award.

 Plunder: the Crime of out Time by Danny Schechter

 Valentino’s Ghost, directed by Michael Singh. With Ahmed Ahmed, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Walter Cronkite, Niall Ferguson.

 The Unclear Truth by Reza John Vedadi

 A Pathway to Gaza Prison Camp by Majid Khabazan

 The Stones Cry Out by Yasmine Perni

 Christian Zionism by Charles E. Carlson

 The End of Poverty by Philippe Diaz

 The Money Lobby by Susan Modarres

 Look behin the Canvass by Mohsen Barmahani

 Between Anvil and Hammer by Mohammad Reza Mohammadi Nejat

 Harb Al-Badah by

 The Liverpool by Shahab Esfandiyari

 West of Orontes River by PressTV

It is noteworthy that the festival’s films are screened in over 3500 points all over Iran besides a number of foreign theaters in Turkey, Gaza and France.
