Farajollah Salahshour Senior Filmmaker and APFF’s Jury Passed away at the Age 63

TEHRAN (AIPFF) - Iranian filmmaker Farajollah Salahshour, who was suffering from lung cancer passed away in hospital on 27 February 2016.

TEHRAN (AIPFF) – Iranian filmmaker Farajollah Salahshour, who was suffering from lung cancer passed away in hospital on 27 February 2016.

Salahshour is well known in Islamic and non-Islamic countries of the world for directing a precious TV series called “Prophet Joseph”.

He was one of the film juries of Ammar Popular Film Festival who has been lauded for directing “Prophet Joseph” in last editions of APFF.

Salahshour also intended to direct “Prophet Moses” but was hospitalized for more than 35 days due to his serious lung cancer before passing away.
