Mohammadreza Shafah

Shafah graduated in cinema of the University of Rennes, France. He has been the manager of an institute called 'the House of Narrative Films of the Islamic Republic'.

Born in Tehran, 1981, Shafah graduated in cinema of the University of Rennes, France. He has been the manager of an institute called ‘the House of Narrative Films of the Islamic Republic’, a manager of Tehran’s 28th International Short Films Festival, and a member of the central board and the Secretary of Communications and International Affairs of the Association of Islamic Students in Europe.

Shafah has also been the producer of the narrative movies “Lakkeh”( Spot) and “Roo Be Qebleh” (Facing Qiblah), and the executive manager of the music video “Istadeim” (We have stood up). He has taught screenwriting at the Faculty of Cinema and Theatre, University of Tehran, and has published a research on Iran’s Cinema and the article, “The Effect of Persian Poetry on Iran’s Cinema of War”, which is in French.
