TEHRAN (AIPFF) – The Center for Iraqi Students at the University of Tehran has planned to display “The Martyr” jointly by the Ammar Popular Film Festival’s secretariat for Iraqi students of the university at Avini Hall of the Art Religious Auditorium in Tehran at weekend.

The Martyr depicts the courageous life of the grand Islamic leader Martyr Mohammad Bagher Sadr through a simple and linear story-line.

Martyr Sadr displayed a stunning talent in learning and practicing Islamic jurisprudence and principles in his very young ages in such a way that it astounded and baffled all his masters in Iraq who endorsed his religious supremacy soon after discovering his talents.

The film briefly touches on how Saddam Hossein usurped the crown from Hassan Al-Bakr.

Produced by Abdul Aleem Taher, the work is put together with the minimum means in an absorbing manner which induces the veracity of the film’s characters in any audience.

The work has also been displayed at the international section of the 34th Fajr Film Festival. It has also been screened at the international section of Resistance Film Festival.

Let’s fill out the registration form  by this Link to watch the film.
