Ammar Manifests Islamic Revolution Art

TEHRAN (AIPFF) - Senior cultural scholar and expert Mohammad Sadegh Koushki said that Ammar Popular Film Festival has made way for manifestation of the Islamic Revolution art.

TEHRAN (AIPFF) – Senior cultural scholar and expert Mohammad Sadegh Koushki said that Ammar Popular Film Festival has made way for manifestation of the Islamic Revolution art.

He said, that the Iranian public in various parts of the country have received the festival well shows that the Islamic Revolution art still enjoys its vast audience in the Iranian society despite claims made by some none-revolutionary figures who happen to have organized a number of arts festivals in the country.

The cultural academic added that not a lot has been done to reflect the Islamic Revolution art and Ammar film festival can be regarded as a means to that effect.

“Other cultural and artistic festivals like Fajr Film Festival have unfortunately been ignorant of the revolution’s values and developments in recent years,” he added.

Koushki further highlighted the popularity dimension of Ammar Popular Film Festival, and said that it has so some extent managed to fill the cultural gap in the society regarding the Islamic Revolution.

“The overwhelming reception of the festival in the country indicates that society in inclined to absorb the concepts focused in the festival unlike what anti-revolutionary figures have so far claimed,” he added.
