BAHRAIN (AIPFF) – A Bahraini woman has displayed the movie “Hengameh” in her house in Bahrain amid heated protests over a recent ruling against Bahrain’s leading Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim.

Hengameh, the first fiction film on Haram Defenders, has been displayed in the Muslim woman’s house in the city of Muharraq.

Previously, The Regulator (Alamak) was displayed in Bahrain.

Hengameh won the 6th Ammar Popular Film Festival’s Lantern in the fiction and best actor sections. Produced by the Office of Islamic Republic Cultural Front Studies and written by Amir Dasargar, the fiction film’s theme centers around Hamed and Hengameh who are passing behind some stormy days. Hamed is losing his friends one by one in clashes with ISIS terrorists who have invaded Syrian Muslims, and Hengameh is completely preoccupied by her university exams. In the meantime, something comes up that revolts both of them.
