TEHRAN, (AIPFF) - AIPFF has planned to honor three outstanding Islamic Revolution directors, namely Masoud Jafari Jozani, Behrouz Afkhami and Hossein Zandbaf parallel with a ceremony to hail renowned Chilin anti-coup filmmaker Miguel Littin on Tuesday.
TEHRAN, (AIPFF) — AIPFF has planned to honor three outstanding Islamic Revolution directors, namely Masoud Jafari Jozani, Behrouz Afkhami and Hossein Zandbaf parallel with a ceremony to hail renowned Chilean anti-coup filmmaker Miguel Littin on Tuesday.
Dubbed as the Linkage Night of Iranian-Latin American Revolutionary Arts, the ceremony is being arranged by APFF International at the Ibn Sina Hall of Tehran University at 6:00 p.m.
Jozani for his film “The Stone Lion”, Zandbaf for “Devil’s Hand” and Afkhami for “The Devil’s Day”, all anti-American and anti-imperialistic works, are being lauded in the ceremony along with the Littin who is here in Tehran to attend the festival’s third edition.
Prior to the ceremony, APFF will display for the first time in Iran the latest production of Littin, “Allende in his Labyrinth” at 4:00 p.m.
Artistic and revolutionary figures including Nader Talebzadeh, Abolghasem Talebi, Masoud Shojaei Tabatabaei, Mohammad Hossein Niroumand, Ezzatollah Mottahari, Salim Ghafouri, Ensiyeh Shah Hosseini and Sina Vahed, Iran’s former cultural attaché in Argentina, are some of the figures who have promised to show up at the ceremony.

Ceremonies in commemoration of Miguel Littin and to unveil his film ‘Allende in His Labyrinth’ will be held in the Ebne Sina Hall of Tehran University’s Medicine Faculty at Pour-Sina Street, Quds Street, Enghelab Avenue, on Tuesday, August 29.
