APFF Films Screened in Gaza
TEHRAN (AIPFF) - The international section of Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF) was launched in Gaza on Saturday and screening of its films has begun in the Palestinian strip.
TEHRAN (AIPFF) – The international section of Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF) was launched in Gaza on Saturday and screening of its films has begun in the Palestinian strip.
A ceremony, entitled as Days of Resistance Cinema as the opening of the festival, was held in the city with the leaders of a number of Palestinian groups as special guests.
Moreover, the opening message of APFF’s opening ceremony in Tehran was read for the guests during the ceremony and Ahmad al-Modalal, one of the leaders of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad, delivered a speech at the event.
The festival is being held at Habibiyeh Hall in Gaza and ran for two days.

Some of the films screened during the festival were Alamak (The Gas Regulator), Sunday Hunter, Sunnis in Iran, Al-Beit (The House) , and Valad (The Son).
Gaza hosted the APFF in 2013 and 2014 and a number of Iranian films on Palestinians’ resistance against the Zionist Regime were displayed at the festival.
