“Market of Affection” is a series of short films about people with deep humanity and caring attitude towards the needy. Its third section is about an old man who helps a needy fruit seller indirectly. The camera shows him entering a grocery shop to buy some fruits. He starts picking rotten apples and putting them in one bag. He then takes another bag and collects the fresh apples. There is a third man in the store watching him curiously and surprisingly, seeking to figure out why he is picking bad fruits and paying, both for the rotten and fresh apples, the same price. He follows the man on the street to ask him about the apples as well as the money. Much to his surprise, the old man puts the bag of the rotten apples next to a garbage bin so that needy people can use.
