Palestinian Youth Minister Says Ammar Revives Resistance Art
Palestine (AIPFF) - The Palestinian Minister of Youth and Sport said Ammar Popular Film Festival plays an important part in the field of resistance.
TEHRAN (AIPFF) – The Palestinian Minister of Youth and Sport said Ammar Popular Film Festival plays an important part in the field of resistance.
Issuing a statement on screening AIPFF’s films in Gaza, Palestinian Minister of Youth and Sport Mohammed Ibrahim Al Madhoun commended the second edition of the Resistance Cinema Days, and called on investing more in the cinema.
He asserted that the Resistance Cinema Days is an original part of the resistance and freedom of Qods scheme in which cinema plays an important role.
“Today, cinema has an outstanding status in raising resistance awareness which will lead to the freedom of Palestine,” he said.
He further called on organizers of the festival in Palestine and the AIPFF’s secretariat to make every effort to revive the resistance art and strengthen the role of cinema in this regard.
Screening of the 1st Ammar International Popular Film Festival’s films in Palestine began on Thursday in a festival called the Resistance Cinema Days.
