He noted: Chiefly sponsored and organized by the Office for Cultural Studies of the Islamic Revolution, the Ammar Popular Film Festival is put together in the most efficient manner in a way that most of the executive operations from A to Z are made possible by its enthusiastic personnel often hired from among students of the country’s top universities to work in the festival 7/24 for a surprisingly mediocre amount, if any!
Also he claimed: Ammar enjoys the companionship and really scholarly cooperation of over 60 youngsters in its central headquarters. Right now there are over 3500 screening venues all over the country where the 4th national Ammar Popular Film Festival’s films are being shown to the Iranian public for free.
Also most of the submissions to the festival are produced by avid amateur filmmakers who look at Ammar as a promising launch pad for the future career in the field. Providing education and training in a real working place for the emerging producers is one of the chief promises of Ammar Film Festival, said Nader Talebzadeh.
