AIPFF selection process has three steps: At first AIPFF team will review all the submitted films to be according to one of the topics of 3rd edition of AIPFF and not have been taken part in previous editions of AIPFF.

Then each submitted film is watched by at least two sets of selection committee to select those which can take part in the competition section.

Finally the films work their way up through the international competition juries to be officially selected as a winner and awarded.
