Countdown to 3rd Ammar Popular Film Festival Begins
TEHRAN (AIPFF) - According to the public relations office of the AIPFF, The 3rd edition of Ammar International Popular Film Festival to be held on the 24th of August and will last for three days in Tehran, capital city of Iran.
TEHRAN (AIPFF) – According to the public relations office of the AIPFF, The 3rd edition of Ammar International Popular Film Festival to be held on the 24th of August and will last for three days in Tehran, capital city of Iran.
This edition of the festival is organized in a number of sections to be held at different intervals with some specific themes. The theme of the first section of the third AIPFF is reviewing coup d’etat movie around the world and also highlighting the role of the global arrogant powers in orchestrating coups in other countries.
The date of the festival is coincided with the 63rd anniversary of the US-sponsored 1953 coup d’état against the government of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadeq.
The mission of Ammar festival is to help the world become familiarized with the Iranian culture and promote the true image of Iran and the Iranian people.
So far more than 5,000 films from 129 countries have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference, which is per se a record-breaking number.
