After reading Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s open letter to the youth in Europe and North America back in 2015, he decided to travel to Iran and get more familiar with the country and its people. “Iranian Dream” is a documentary about an American journalist who travels to Iran as a tourist and businessperson. The camera follows Caleb Maupin on the streets of Tehran where he attends religious ceremonies in the capital to learn more about Iran’s rich culture and traditions. Maupin interviews Iranians from different walks of life, including university students on various political and cultural issues. The documentary also shows the American journalist while paying homage to Iranian soldiers who were martyred during Saddam Hussein’s imposed war on Iran. He also pays tribute to Iranian nuclear scientists martyred by the Zionist regime of Israel.
