TEHRAN (AIPFF) – Iran’s APFF has planned to screen the ‘Mitzvah’ by Witold Gadowski and Maciej Grabysa which focuses on human organ trafficking organized by the Zionist regime for stealing organs from the bodies of Palestinians and other nationals.
The film reveals the horrifying case of Palestinians being kidnapped by Zionist forces to unknown destinations for having their bodies ripped into parts so their organs are illegally and enragingly transplanted.
This film is about kidney donors coming from poor Moldavian villages, who sold their organs to the Israeli citizens during the illegal transplantations in Turkey.
A full length documentary co-financed by Polish Film Institute, ‘Mitzvah’ shows the behind scenes of organ traffic by the Zionist regime and some other countries like Moldova, Ukraine, Turkey, Colombia, China and Philippines.
Directors of the film try to discover the cause of such situation and its social, cultural and economic background.
Robby Berman, the head of Halachic Organ Donor Society, highlights this problem trying to find the reason of low donation rate in Israel in religious grounds; his society works in Israel and among the Jewish diaspora to change the awareness on this issue.
On the other hand, Donald Bostrom, Swedish journalist working for the Alftonbladet magazine, presents shocking facts about the IDF soldiers stealing organs from the murdered Palestinians on the West Bank.
The shooting of the film took more than five years in Israel, Palestinian Authority, Turkey, Moldova and Ukraine.
Film directors, Maciej Grabysa and Witold Gadowski take us behind the scene of illegal transplantations in Israel; film shows the Israeli brokers as well as the citizens of Israel, who bought their organs by the means of so called transplant tourism;
