TEHRAN (AIPFF) - APFF has conducted an exclusive interview with political commentator and human rights activist Mark Glenn on a number of subjects including the control of the Zionist lobby on American media outlet and the 4th Ammar Popular Film Festival in Iran.

TEHRAN (AIPFF) – APFF has conducted an exclusive interview with political commentator and human rights activist Mark Glenn on a number of subjects including the control of the Zionist lobby on American media outlet and the 4th Ammar Popular Film Festival in Iran.

Former schoolteacher of History, as well as the Latin, Italian, French and Spanish languages, Mark Glenn currently writes articles on the situation in the Middle East, Zionism, and the need for the Christian and Islamic worlds to unite against their common Zionist enemy. He is also the co-founder of the Crescent and Cross Solidarity Movement and a regular commentator on Press TV.

What follows is a report on parts of the 40-minute interview with Mr. Glenn:

 What was the first anti-Zionist movie you watched?

I have never seen such a movie in the US. The things that I see I have to look for them in other countries. In the US everything is in mono tone airing Jewish views only, and they are produced with consideration of the Jewish interests; we hear everything in mono here. We have to get outside of this country to get an idea of what is really going on in the world. As an example, the movie made by Nader Talebzadeh about the life of Jesus Christ was a really good film…. I have seen many good movies coming out or about Iran.

He mentioned the Independence Day as one of the most political movies by the Hollywood.

He argued that the aliens attacking the earth in the movie were countered only by a Jewish man named David. In the movie only he was able to save the world and the human race from the alien attack.

“My personal theory is that this movie was released strategically right before 9/11 in order to prepare the American mindset for seeing Jews as smart and saviors who are the only ones who are going to save us from Muslims who cannot be defeated by anybody else.”

 When asked about the number of films made in Hollywood supporting Jewish interests he said, “hundreds, hundreds; they have been doing this ever since the pro-Israeli grant the American media. They have been pranking our regular and sometimes very subtle. You don’t see the Israeli flag but you see a man named David who saves the world. The most powerful way they control the American people is controlling what we see, what our affections are and how and what about we think and this is much more powerful than the control over the American congress. And the worst is that the people do not realize that they are being controlled by the Zionist lobbies”.

 What people are producing and distributing pro-Israeli movies in the US?

The only reason that they make such movies is that American are not interested in politics especially politics outside of the American borders. So the notion that Hollywood is only producing these pro-Israeli films that Americans want is not true and accurate. Americans have an appetite for violence, sex, materialism and nothing that forces them to really think about things. Nothing that causes our brains that we have to think. Hollywood is not merely producing such movies for the sake of money. America has become appointed to fight Muslims up to the next 100 years and defend the interests of Israelis. We have been programmed to be a violent people so that we will have no problem with going and fighting these wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and anywhere else in the world. Violence in American has become a religion and we are raised on violence as a way of preparing us so that young children play with toy guns and then get real guns in the future. We go about the world fighting these wars. There is this conditioning among the American people. Israel is utilizing the US to fight its interests in the world.

 What is the role of independent cinema and filmmakers?

I think there is always hope. There are other factors that play here. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s said at a meeting with the expediency council that “It’s important for Iran to develop other forms of media because that is the only way we can counter the poisonous effects of western media.” I think this is important that the rest of the world is still free of the Zionist contagion and they do develop these media outlets because that is where the power lies. When you are pulling a camera at something you are beaming those ideas and images right into the minds of possibly billions of people. If we are going to defeat the Zionist lobby we have to adhere to these means.

 What is the most important dimension of the Iranian people that the American people don’t know about?

I think the notion that Iran hates the American people is erroneous and Americans should be made to understand this. I think if Americans know how friendly Iranians are towards American and vice versa things would definitely change. The respect Iranians have for Jesus Christ is also censored by the western media that has painted lies about Iran. The Iranian people gave the charismas to the world. The Zionist media says Iran wants to destroy the world by the nuclear weapon but we have seen nothing so far. Here is an opportunity that Iran should take advantage of to show the world that Iran is a peaceful country that wishes to live peacefully with the world.

About the 4th Ammar Popular Film Festival and I think the festival needs to be more funny and attractive for the youth so that it engages them in its policies.

 Do you believe that the Hollywood once cinema for cinema and is not political?

No, I think that Hollywood is 100% political even the movies that Hollywood make that have nothing to do with politics they carry with them ideas that can be used for political designs. Even though a movie may not mention politics at all, they try to poison and season minds of the viewers of such movies which can be used in the future for political designs.
