“The Queen’s Mystery” Valuable Piece of Art: Academic

TEHRAN (APFF) – An Iranian academic described “The Queen’s Mystery” by Mahdi Naqavian as a valuable piece of art, stressing that the documentary is committed to Iran’s national interests and principles of foreign politics.

TEHRAN (APFF) – An Iranian academic described “The Queen’s Mystery” by Mahdi Naqavian as a valuable piece of art, stressing that the documentary is committed to Iran’s national interests and principles of foreign politics.

“Production of such documentaries is a hopeful sign and [that] is of great value,” Fars News Agency quoted Mohammad Sadeq Koushki as saying. The university professor also lauded the work for pursuing the principles of the country’s “national interests and principles of foreign politics”, expressing the hope that more similar documentaries will be made in the future.

In the meantime, Koushki said that the weakness of the work lies in section of historical research, urging the director to pay further attention to this part in his future works and make use of skilled cinematographers’ advice.

“The Queen’s Mystery” was unveiled during an official ceremony at the venue of Hoze Honari in Tehran.

Mahdi Naqavian holds the record for winning multiple awards from various Ammar Popular Film Festivals. The multiple award winner has different documentaries in his record, including “The Guardian of Votes”, “Angry Bull”, and “The Warmest Day of Winter”.
